Allspice

This spice is derived from the dried fruit of the Pimenta dioica tree.
Allspice berries (which look like large peppercorns), smell and taste like a mixture of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
Store in cool, dark cupboard, away from direct heat or sunlight. Keep tightly closed when not in use.
Freezing is not recommended.
