Almonds

Purchase whole, raw, and unpasteurized almonds and chop or slice them before each use for the freshest flavor.
Soak almonds in boiling water for 10 minutes in order to soften.
If you want to increase the absorption of nutrients or get rid of the seed’s brown hull, soak your almonds overnight, submerged in water with a little bit of salt, and flake off the hulls before storing in the refrigerator for the week.
Store whole almonds in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
