Mango
Look for mangos that yield to gentle pressure and are without blemishes or dark spots.
To speed up ripening, place mangos in a paper bag at room temperature. It will turn soft and sweet in a few days. If you smell a fragrant aroma, the mango is ripe.
To get to the mango's fruit, you will need to remove the pit first.
Freeze chopped and peeled fruit in a plastic bag with the air squeezed out. |
