Peaches
Many of the properties of the peach are in the skin, so it is interesting to eat this fruit without peeling, provided that they have been produced in ecological cultivations where no pesticides have been used. Peaches should be eaten when they are very mature.
Look for peaches with firm and fuzzy skin that yield to gentle pressure.
Ripen peaches in a brown paper bag and watch them closely as they can ripen in 24 hours. Store ripe peaches at room temperature for up to 2 days. Do not allow peaches to touch.
Wash peaches just before use. |
